Joyful Journeys is a fundraising team dedicated to creating positive change in the lives of children and youth less fortunate. With a passionate team of organizers, we bring together a community of compassionate individuals who believe in the power of giving back. Through immersive experiences, inspiring stories, and engaging activities, Joyful Journeys raises funds to support children and youth, making a lasting impact in education, life skills, and community projects. Join us on this meaningful journey towards a better world. While fundraising is fun and engaging, The main goal of Joyful Journeys is to raise funds to support children and youth in foster/adoptive homes. Children like Jane will receive a birthday card and gift in the mail for her birthday! Jeremy will receive a traditional Thanksgiving meal, take pictures with Santa, and receive Christmas gifts from his very own personalized wish list!

Youth entering foster care for the first time, like Anna, will receive a backpack full of necessities and care items to call their own.

Families like the Collins' will have access to dozens of free events throughout the year that encourage engagement, connection, and community; an invaluable support network for resource families!

Our Board of Directors is embarking on a new fundraising experience! Our crew of nine will divide into teams of three to compete to raise funds to support Share My Smile programming and operations!

Share My Smile has been a growing part of our community since we began in 2010. We serve as a supportive organization providing care programs and engagement activities for foster and adoptive families and children. We currently provide programming in 17 counties in Iowa and Douglas County in Nebraska and serve over 500 foster and adopted children and their families!

Smile Starter: Help provide a birthday box filled with essentials for a foster child's special day. Guess what? You can make it a monthly donation and provide 12 children with birthday boxes!

$100 One-Time

Care Kit Champion: Equip a foster child with a backpack filled with toiletries, school supplies, and comforting items when entering a new home. Did you know? When you make it a monthly donation, you provide backpacks to 12 children!

$500 One-Time

Friend Sponsorship - Your 500 dollar donation will impact the lives of FIVE children for a whole year! Incredible! Birthday gifts. Care packages. Holiday Support. Community Events. Opportunities! Thank you for being a friend to our youth in need!

$1,000 One-Time

Supporter Sponsorship - Can you imagine? TEN children will be sponsored because of your thousand dollar donation! A gift that stretches far and wide! Children are experiencing birthdays, holidays, community events and more because of your support!
